Solar Solution LLC has been asked to participate in the Green Your Home Expo on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 10am to 2pm on the Connecticut Avenue plaza at the Van Ness Campus of the University of the District of Columbia.

We will demonstrate the power of photovoltaic solar panels and provide brochrues and informaion regarding alterntaive energy at our booth.

The expo will feature more than 30 green exhibitors and District government agencies, two panel discussions, and remarks from District officials. The event is free and open to the public. Additional information is included in the attached one page description.

The Green Your Home Expo will kick-off the Neighborhood Sustainability Indicators Pilot Project (NSIPP), a community-driven sustainability planning process coordinated by Office of Planning (OP), the Department of the Environment (DDOE), and the Office of Councilmember Mary Cheh. The expo will build awareness of neighborhood sustainability issues and empower citizens to take action in their homes and communities. The event will be a great opportunity to showcase your organization and interact with District residents looking to incorporate sustainability into their homes and lifestyles.
