Washington, DC., June 23, 2009 --- Solar Solution LLC and Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) are joining together to present at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the National Mall. There is an expected 1 Million visitors who will be in attendance to learn the advantages and benefits of alternative energy.

We have been invited to showcase the effectiveness and efficiency of solar electric and solar thermal technologies at this year’s Smithsonian Folk Life Festival in Washington DC. The Folklife Festival is a hugely popular event, drawing up to 1 million visitors and having an even larger media reach of up to 40 million people. Showcasing a product on the National Mall at this time is an amazing promotional opportunity.

Our display will demonstrate domestic scale photovoltaic and solar thermal technology and will promote the use of such systems to all visitors. Engineers from the Centre for Alternative Technology will be on hand to interpret the displays, explaining to visitors how the modules work and the amount of power generated.
