Incentives that have just been passed by the United States Congress combined with recent federal and state rebates that have made the system free. Not only will the system be paid for by grants and incentives, you as the owner would still benefit from creating your own energy and reducing your carbon output. This makes the investment in solar power a great financial decision for businesses and for home owners. By contacting a Solar Solution representative you will be able to discover just how great a savings is possible through governmental tax credit incentives.
Currently the federal government offers a 30% tax rebate on the purchase of any Photovoltaic Solar Panels installed on your home in any state with no size limit on the incentives. This new law that is in place allows for an unlimited amount of rebate that will not expire till the year 2016.
THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

The DDOE currently has set aside approximately $2,000,000 dollars to be used in the year of 2009 towards grants for its residents. Click here to be placed on the list to receive your rebate.

The State of Maryland has allocated approximately $591,000 dollars to be used in the year of 2009 towards grants for its residents. When the funds have been allocated, there is a waiting list that your name will be placed on so that you will automatically be enrolled the following year or when funds become available.
VIRGINIA
The State of Virginia unfortunately does not currently have any type of grants available to its residence. We strongly urge you to contact your local Congressman or Governor regarding this issue. The state of Virginia has always been on the forefront of change and is falling behind other states in this matter. Make your voice heard.
